Ken Kingery
I’ve been a science writer for nearly 20 years, producing a wide range of articles, press releases, videos, podcasts, magazines, you name it—all to translate research findings from scientific gobbly gook to something interesting for anyone to read. My experience covering a wide variety of scientific topics gave me the inspiration to give a novel a shot, a novel based somewhat on at least half-true physics concepts but mostly outlandish conjecture that I find fun. But outside of the grand thesis of “Soulular Energy,” you’ll mostly find ideas of the workarounds scientists and engineers might develop should certain hallmark technologies of science fiction such as anti-gravity prove impossible. It is my sincere hope that, should he ever read it, Neil deGrasse Tyson would approve of the world’s scientific foundations.
